 Robert Chausow has been a violinist in the New York City Ballet Orchestra for over four decades. As such, he has been in the presence of Balanchine, Robbins, Kirstein and generations of the legendary dancers who have contributed to the greatness of NYCB. He has played an unimaginable number of Nutcrackers, having memorized the complete score many years ago. He has also been a member of many of New York’s finest orchestral ensembles, an active chamber musician, studio musician and teacher.
