Robert Carlisle has been a member of the New York City Ballet Orchestra since1975 and has played principal horn with the orchestra since 2005.    He has performed with many other ensembles including the New York Philharmonic, the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, and Orpheus to name a few. He has been very active in the New York recording scene, having played on numerous major motion pictures, popular recordings and radio and television commercials.
